Because this project is really huge there are a few things that I will need some help. I need a graphics artist that will help me with the 3d models of the vehicles in game.
The next version of the game will have some new cars modeled by me. However I need someone from the gmc forums that can make more low poly cars for the game.

Remember that the models must be lowpoly with less than 150 polys and a 256*256 texture, like the cars in the VEHICLES PAGE.

ReplyDeleteYou can use 3d Studio Max or any other program you like. I only need the models to be in .3ds or .obj format.

ReplyDeleteI have a great collection of models that you could use including cars, people, weapons and more but the problem is that the models come with multiple textures (3 or 4) and that some of them are larger then the size you stated above (256*256). Is there a way of mapping the multiples textures onto the models? Also could you resize the textures/models so that you could use them?

ReplyDelete2. The collection is from an author named Antics3D which he used to own a really useful 3d animation program that was closed quite a while ago so he posted his models open for public. I must say they are quite good.
You can send them to me with a pm from gmc.yoyogames.com forums.

@kreator44, you have to upload the files somewhere first like mediafire.com, box.net or somewhere else (it's free) and place them all in a zip file first.

I can start making some cars if you want, but just make a page where peeps can upload models straight to your site, so you can use them. I will try to make a helicopter for you... Or a tank.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking, It would be cool to have a police helicopter in the game (like in the crimelife 2) You could even use the same file as in the old one, because that one did not look to shabby, in my opinion. Also, I like your tank from Infinite war, and you could have a cheat that spawns the tank for you. This way you could add 2 more models and not have to do any additional modeling .
